April 02, 2016 Sunrise Drive

We start with a beautiful sun rising sky and James kicked back on a log relaxing waiting for the sun to be up. The sun rising with James telling us the sounds we are hearing while watching the sun come up so awesome I had to record a video

06:15 At Sydney's dam. Where we watch a lion stalk the baby waterbuck and then chase it over the dam wall. Then he comes back the lion that is without the baby waterbuck.

The lion walks towards Brent and the vehicle making small contact calls we hope for a roar but none yet as Brent re-positions. The big fabulous Birmingham boy lies down in a bush for us to view for awhile. He then stands makes a small contact call, walks a short bit then lies down again this time in the open.  B.Boy #4. We follow him as he passes some impala who alarm call like crazy then he eventually crosses MMM boundary road into Simbambili property.

07:31 A herd of upset elephants who are corralling.  There is a mid 20s bull who is probably the cause of the stress in the herd. There is a massive huge female and he is harassing her. He shows us on his tablet a diagram of elephant's heads and how to tell female from male by head shape. male on right; female on left.

1.45 James gets a report of mating leopards were left lying flat near where he is, from Brent o n the radio.
He thinks it would probably be Tingana and Thandi mating.

I am sorry there is flower talk and pretty flowers found by both of the guys but I keep dozing off and have skipped over them.
