Jamie, ```````````````````````````````````````````````

We start drive this afternoon with Jamie. Today will be Jamie's first day on Cheetah plains she is on her way there now.

James, ```````````````````````````````````````````````
James says his good afternoon greeting with a painted lady butterfly.
He is planning on going to Arathusa; three Birmingham boys have been reported as being there. Later we will go see the Nkuhuma.

Jamie on Cheetah Plains ```````````````````````````````````````````````
Jamie is now on Cheetah plains however since she didn’t get her cell phone GPS working she has to use a paper map.
She passes three in a row pan
She is now searching for the cheetahs but she hasn't yet gotten to where they were.
We see the head of a rock or water monitor but he is a ways off

James, ```````````````````````````````````````````````
Has found one of the Birmingham boy in the shade under a knob thorn tree.
On our way in for a closer view of the male lions, we come across two very upset crowned lapwings and their nest on the ground.
Three of the Birmingham boys are under the tree but we couldn’t see the other two at a distance since they are lying flat sleeping like the lazy cats they are. The third has his head up but is mostly asleep as well.

Jamie on Cheetah Plains ``````````````````````````````````````````````
Ostriches. Ostrich flock. Yes it's called a flock.  They are across on mala mala but this is another of the exciting sightings we were hoping for on the new traversing area of Cheetah plains. We get to see them run but they are a bit far away.
A warthog running like mad. way off as well, however we can see so clearly with the clearing being so vast.

James, ```````````````````````````````````````````````
Yellow and a blue pansy butterflies
Still with the Birmingham boys who are sleeping
James is planning on leaving the Boys to go see if he can find the ladies. Nkuhuma if you don't know what I mean.
Before he leaves he moves to get us a good view of the lion with the skin infection on his belly that makes it look reddish and scaly.

Jamie on Cheetah Plains ```````````````````````````````````````````````
Jamie has found the male cheetahs just a bit south of where they were this morning with James. They are on the Mala-Mala border, lying under a tree in the shade just enjoying a nap.

James, ```````````````````````````````````````````````
He has found a fourth Birmingham boy while driving away from the sighting of the other three.
He is only about 150 meters from the other three.

Jamie on Cheetah Plains ```````````````````````````````````````````````
Still with the cheetahs. We still have so much to chat about and learn about them, so even though they are lying down we can stay with them longer and not run out of new things to discuss.

James, ```````````````````````````````````````````````
A large (well nine of them or so) herd of Kudu.

Jamie on Cheetah Plains ```````````````````````````````````````````````
The cheetahs are up and walking farther into mala mala so this will most likely be out last view for the drive.

James, ```````````````````````````````````````````````
Buffalo in a pan with red-billed oxpeckers on them, of course. A juvenile oxpecker is begging from a red-billed to be fed, James thinks it's a yellow-billed oxpecker juvenile so he thinks this is very odd since the yellow-billed are much rarer.
James pulls a violent move and murders/slaps a biting fly on his leg before leaving to head to another dam.

Gracie ( a regular child viewer) wants James to find her a flower so he says he will find her 10.

  1. 1.      He finds one a white flower.
    2.      Now a yellow ball shaped flower, it's an Acacia flower. (Gracie's second flower).
    3.      Some kind of whitish flower that James doesn’t know and has no scent #3.
    4.      Justicia flava #4.
    5.      Flower #6 (hmm did I miss one?) is a white flower no scent

Jamie on Cheetah Plains ```````````````````````````````````````````````
Yellow-billed hornbill with some large caterpillar like creature for dinner.

James, ```````````````````````````````````````````````
 6. A blue plumbago flower #7 for Gracie.
 7. A fluffy long looking flower that looks like grass #8.
 8. Waltheria flower #9 (so James says)
 9. #10 string of stars.

An African monarch butterfly

Jamie on Cheetah Plains ````````````````````````````````````````````````
The sunset from Cheetah plains

James, ````````````````````````````````````````````````
We get to see the sky from James's view, while he finds flower #10 in order to make us that think his count was off happy.
      10. Flower #10 for Gracie. Anise which smells like licorice. Thank you James I am happy now.  Ten flowers for Gracie

Jamie on Cheetah Plains ````````````````````````````````````````````````
On way to Sydney's dam because there is a report the lions are there now and James doesn't have a spotlight to see them with.

James, ````````````````````````````````````````````````
giraffe silhouetted in the African sunset sky.

Jamie, ````````````````````````````````````````````````
Jamie on Buffelshoek cutline with a sky view

James, ````````````````````````````````````````````````
James's giraffe silhouette view again

Jamie says her goodnight from Bryan and The Thumb as well.

James says goodnight and thank you to all viewers and WildEarth - Safari Live crew.
