Sam Chevallier presenting with Bryan Joubert on camera.

Brent Leo- presenting with Jeandré Gerding on camera.

Sam,
Sam says good morning with a large breeding herd of buffalo.

Brent,
Says good chilly morning, intro, moving at a snail pace down the southern boundary looking a tracks of Queen Karula and her cubs if no signs he will head over to Cheetah plains.

Sam,
Elephants
Sam re-does him morning introduction, with elephants in the back ground. A Stork flys in and a young ellie trumpets and charges to chase it off before we even get to see it.
A young ellie lies and after a bit another or maybe the same one lies down again and another tries to sit on it. I love it when they get silly like that.

Brent,
While headed east towards Cheetah plains Brent has found fresh male leopard tracks, so for now he is going to track him rather then head over to cheetah plains just yet.

Sam,
Saddle-billed stork that the elephants chased off well at least the same kind, it is behind some tree or bush trunks but we can see it quite well. It's eating or picking in the mud wallow for food.
Back to the breeding herd of buffalo most of them lying down chewing the cud

Brent,
Still tracking

Sam,
Buffalo herd still
Sam's vehicle battery has died so he can't move and is waiting for James to save him with a new battery, he hcats about the buffalo.

Brent on Cheetah plains
But his signal cuts out and since James is helping get Sam back up and running we go to tech loop.
He's back
Darn black screen again

Sam,
We go to Sam with Connor and James and Kirsten from FC who have come to rescue him. We get to watch all the mechanics and whatnot while Connor replaces the battery, since Brent has no signal. Of course since James is there his commentary keeps us entertained.

Brent on Cheetah plains
Finds old cheetah tracks probably from yesterday
Pale morph tawny eagle
Wildebeest bull lying down in the shade chewing his cud.

Sam,
Kudu females
A very large elephant bull walks into the view and stands there for a few seconds then moves on.

Brent on Cheetah plains
A flying Bateleur eagle. (Brent doesn’t say which bird of prey. I think that’s what it was)

Sam,
08:27 Sam has arrives at Buffelshoek dam. There is a male giraffe across from him, and a large breeding herd of buffalo herd moving out of the water.
08:29 Two buffalo fight behind some trees. We can hear the sounds of their bosses/horns hitting each other and see the dust flying with some sighting of them off and on.
08:34 There is a hippo in the water with a large and a small terrapin on its back.
08:37 Red-billed hornbill doing its dance call.
08:40 Red-billed buffalo weaver and it's nest
08:48 The giraffe heads down towards the water.
08:49 We get to see the giraffe drink.

Sam says his goodbye for the morning.

Brent on Cheetah plains
Brent has not found much today on Cheetah plains but everywhere will have days where the animals just don’t feel like being on camera.

Brent says his goodbyes for the morning at the original Djuma waterhole on Cheetah plains.

End of Drive
